OK, so you and your dog have regular places where you hang out—at a neighborhood dog park or coffee shop, for instance. Looking to expand your horizons? When you’re playing tourist in your own hometown, you need only turn to the DogTrekker.com website or app to uncover new dog-friendly places where you and your pup are welcome.

To get started: Go to the DogTrekker.com home page and click on your city, county or region on the Destinations rail on the left. Can't find your hometown? Simply click on "All Cities" or "All Counties" to search your location. Then explore within the activity listings for what interests you.

Our thousands of listings, each of which is accompanied by a map, are reviewed and updated regularly for accuracy. It’s all part of our “4-Paw Promise” to deliver local and accurate listings, provide engaging and actionable content, and focus on social commitment to the communities we serve.

In the center of the page, you’ll find stories related to your search that have appeared in past newsletters—which, by the way, can be delivered free to your inbox every two weeks.

To check out these stories, click the Archives tab on the top navigation bar to bring up past issues with themes like waterfalls, romantic getaways and best hikes for winter. If you’re not currently receiving this important part of the DogTrekker offering, please sign up here.
